Release Information of bestIMAGE Patch 3.50/07

New CAM Features:

New SPA 500 Laser support for MORPHEUS and HELIOS machines.
First Release for HELIOS machines.
During Engraving Screen Saver, Monitor power down and Standby mode of PC is prevented.
Suction delay for MORHEUS, AGRIOS, HELIOS now 140 sec. and a Suction-Value of 33% for easier automatic filter cleaning.
Head Moving... is now also visible in Move-Dialog of Toolbox.
Focus Wizard now engraves the focus row number to easier identify the correct row.
Number of Focus-Rows which are engraved can now be defined by user (3-31 rows)
During Canceling process the Cancel Button changes the lable to "Aborting" to visualize that pressing the Cancel button is realized and aborting is in progress.
Automatic backup of machines settings (*.CDS) if settings changed during closing bestIMAGE.
Driver now supports new and old generation of PC-TTL-IO interface card.
Focus Pattern engraving time improved.
Improved Focus Pattern now contains cross lines with 1, 2, 4 and 8 pixel thickness.
Power Rated Days till 100% are now configureable in ecoLEN and bestLEN settings.

Solved CAD Bugs:

All solved bugs of Patch 06
Upgrading the bestIMAGE InfoMgmt-Database to 3.50/xx format from versions 3.00/xx or older now works correctly.
(It is now logner necessary to start version 3.50.01 at least 1 time before installing the actual Patch 07).
Preprocessing field is now inactive if Production calibration is approved.
Bugfix for Raster Simulation and Outline widening Simulation to have no unregular artifacts at the joining.
Filter/FrameUp in verry rare cases framed a color against background even if there was no surrounding background.
Double click on File at file open dialog in rare cases caused the application to hang.
Stripe function in some cases made the last stripe thicker than specified.

Solved CAM Bugs:

All solved bugs of Patch 06
'Begin at' in Engraving details, was limited by engraving width, instead of file width.

Known CAM Bugs:

If parts are already placed for engraving but a retainer detection is started afterwards which limits the maximum rotation speed,
then cutspeed parameters do not get updated and an error "Timeout waiting for correct drumspeed" will occure during engraving.

Installation of Patch:

This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 3.50/05 or 3.50/06 !
Download these 2 files into the same directory:

Patch.zip
PatchSetup.exe

and double click on the downloaded file PatchSetup.exe. This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching PatchSetup.exe. The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !

If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result.

In rare cases it is necessary to manually remove the directory C:\Program Files\STORK-STK if the uninstallation program did not completely remove this folder, before you reinstall the bestIMAGE software.
