Solved CAD/CAM Bugs:
- Database upgrade of 3.60/xx InfoMgmtBE.mdb databases is now working correct again (there was a bug in 4.00/07).
- Rotate/Invert preset of File/Open was not stored/loaded for "TIF" extention (upper-case).
- bestIMAGE does no more crash if a Material with more than about 18 curves is selected.
Solved CAM Bugs:
- Adding of new screentypes (e.g. rotaMESH screens with endrings) is working now correctly for all parameters.
- Positioning on canvas area of files which saved in inches are now more accurate handled.
- "Pre engraved Border" now uses Raster-ResY (in case of ONLF rasterizing) instead of File-ResY.
- Focus difference for "Pre engraved border" engraving produced a wrong border height on output.
- MAX 4000: OpenArea calculation is now correct.
- Unengravable area for "3 jaw chuck" retainer is now correctly calculated.
Installation of Patch:
This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 4.00/01, 4.00/02, 4.00/03, 4.00/04, 4.00/05, 4.00/06 or 4.00/07 !
Download these 2 files into the same directory:
Patch.zip
In case of Windows XP: PatchSetupXP.exe
In case of Windows Vista: PatchSetupVista.exe
and double click on the downloaded file PatchSetup(XP/Vista).exe. This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching PatchSetup(XP/Vista).exe. The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !
If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result.
In rare cases it is necessary to manually remove the directory C:\Program Files\STORK-STK if the uninstallation program did not completely remove this folder, before you reinstall the bestIMAGE software.
