Solved CAD/CAM Bugs:
- Some certain characters lead to an invalid XML structure (&, <, >, ', ") in XML exports like material or production calibrations.
- DLE format bugfixed.
- Do not 'Allow scale X' does no more produces multiple warning messages in case of extraordinary resolution and/or repeat width.
Solved CAD Bugs:
- Vector objects are rendered and flattened on exactly same position (might have been different up to 1 pixel).
- A crash which rarely happened after measuring of the samples in production calibration, is solved now.
- Production calibration tool now always shows last measured sample for better monitoring of measurements.
Solved CAM Bugs:
- Logging database is converted to actual release after automatic restoring.
- ecoLEX self calibration time now 20 seconds.
- EL4000: DCA-Referencevoltage error removed, since there is a hardware tolerance fault
It is recommended to make backups of these files before installation: InfoMgmtBE.mdb (maybe located on a shared server location), EngrProt.mdb (only on CAM machines)
Installation of Patch:
This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 4.00/01, 4.00/02, 4.00/03, 4.00/04, 4.00/05, 4.00/06, 4.00/07 or 4.00/08 !
Download these 2 files into the same directory:
Patch.zip
In case of Windows XP: PatchSetupXP.exe
In case of Windows Vista: PatchSetupVista.exe
and double click on the downloaded file PatchSetup(XP/Vista).exe. This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching PatchSetup(XP/Vista).exe. The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !
If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result.
In rare cases it is necessary to manually remove the directory C:\Program Files\STORK-STK if the uninstallation program did not completely remove this folder, before you reinstall the bestIMAGE software.
