Solved CAD Bugs:

The screen name length for PDF-Files is now truncated to maximum allowed screen name length.
If a file was opened from CD or other removable media and the media was removed, there was an error when closing the file.
There is a wait-cursor now for changing softboarder in paste dialog.
In files with drop, shapes were copied/pasted/cut not correct if not in first repeat.
If used with size larger than 1 pixel, Skelleton produced unwanted output in certain cases.
Assigning of production calibrations with 'prelinearized printform curves' in output parameter is now working correctly and doesn't produces error's is certain cases.
Scaling to very small cursors and the resulting in a crash in certain cases is now working correctly.
Displaying of background after opening a file for default-displaymode 'overlay'.
Invert separation with background is now working correctly and inverts shading 255 to zero and background to shading 255.
CAM preprocessing did not work correctly in rare cases where no unrastered source file was not loaded.
Preview of raster plugin is now working correctly and the correct parameters would be saved into file.
Smooth filter crashed in 64-bit bestImage.
Edit/Effect draw is now working correctly in case of a selected halftonecursor and not do the same as fulltone cursors.
Edit/Emboss lighten and darken are now working correctly this means lighten is now lighten the effect and not darken.
Fill with 'snapped to grid' doesn't use the real start point and not the snapped point as fill start point.
Preview of Raster function does not crash in case of add/remove separation.
Edit/Effect draw has no sharing violation in case of smae pattern as in Edit/Emboss. The effect scaling factor is now working correctly after reselection.
Filter/CloseGap doesn't close preview if it is not necessary.
Deleting of separations are displayed correctly in open area dialog, stripe dialog, flatbed dialog and trim dialog.
Edit/Fill 'contour mode' is disabled after deleting of all separations.
Upper-case file extension bug fixed.
Print preview stopped working if additional ColorInfo was closed during selection.
Hide/Show of settings in Print fixed.
Improved Memory Management for Vista and for PCs having more than 2 GB RAM.
PDF Files with an offset inside page were not rendered correctly.
Trim produced an error with negative distance in certain cases.
White spaces are now preserved when loading XML files.
Converting a PDF in CAM-Plugin produced empty lines in LYR.
Import PDF used too much memory which caused a dongle protection error and system slowdown.

New CAD features:

Photoshop CS4 (32-bit) supported now.
New Raster function now optimizes regularity of small dots of chessboard,crossline and circle raster.
The PUB format imports output data now.
Import PDF files rotated.
Job-Editor: Output parameters for PDF objects are saved per color into jobfiles now.

It is recommended to make backups of these files before installation: InfoMgmtBE.mdb (maybe located on a shared server location), EngrProt.mdb (only on CAM machines)

Installation of Patch:

This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 4.50/01 !
Download this file:

Update.exe

and double click on the downloaded file PatchSetupVista.exe. This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching PatchSetupVista64.exe.
The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !

If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result. In rare cases it is necessary to manually remove the directory C:\Program Files\STORK-STK if the uninstallation program did not completely remove this folder, before you reinstall the bestIMAGE software.
