OP150325-1054i: bestIMAGE was able to save incompatible bitmaps (width or height too large for other software, e.g.: Photoshop)
OP140725-1119i: Correct UI representation of level control in raster plugin during resizing of dialog.
OP150416-1021i: Edit/Paste with softborder is now working without error in certain cases.
Background processing: /ctif command line parameter can now be used stand-alone without others just to convert *.lyr to *.tif
Correct checking and displaying of all installed and useable fonts in 'Edit/Text' and 'Edit/Vector text' plugins.
Correct error source information in logfile for database errors.

Solved CAM Bugs:

DLX, variLEX: If exposer intensity was set to 0% the extra movements for UV exposer are not done anymore.

OP150226-0945i: Input field for PDF resolution was missing in new user interface (open page/dialog)
OP150325-1416i: Sorting of pending jobs by status was not possible in new user interface.

OP150116-1137i: The default production calibration (if set to be applied in Extras/Settings) was not applied for TIFF and LEN files.
OP150326-1258i: Already done jobs can be set back to 'done' now, if status was changed to 'ready' or 'under construction' by mistake.
OP150326-1258i: More failsafe handling of pending jobs on Job-Editor. One Job-Editor was able to overwrite other Job-Editors jobs. And if Job-Editor crashed the previously opened job could never be opened again.

Correct calculation of possible resolutions and acceptable tolerance for parallel multichannel devices.
The current device configuration was not initialized during startup of new user interface. This lead to some confusing error messages in device panel which disappeared after one or two seconds.
Correct checking and displaying of all installed and useable fonts for 'Edit/Text' and'Edit/Vector text' plugins and also for canvas text objects and canvas inlay text objects.
Correct error source information in logfile for database errors.
Channel status bits were displayed like error bits (red) in Logging-History.
Position preview of objects in combination with 'pre engrave border' functionality is now displaying the correct detail in preview window.
LEN4000bL (backplaned): Missing inputs for 'AOM housing water level' and 'Chiller ready' signals were added.
Loading of *.LYC files is now working without an error.
Pre-engraved border function was not working correctly (files were engraved within border when only border should be engraved).

New CAM features:

DLX/variLEX: If exposing intensity is set to 0%, no extra movement for exposing unit is done.
DLX/variLEX: Automatic condensate purging (air compressor) every 24 hours to prevent compressed air errors during output.
The number of copies can now be changed for job reorders.
Possibility of changing the 'Number of repeats in circumference' in job wizard specials page and in output details page for 'Smart user interface' machines.
Helios 6010: Support of new embossing cylinder retainer system.
Possibility to save current output-/raster- and relief3D parameter to the production calibration database (only visible in new expert GUI).

Solved CAM Bugs for service technicians:

OP150427-1335i variLEX: It was possible that UV settings were overwritten by IR settings and vice versa.
E.g.: If "Self calibration" was opened in UV, then switched to any other TAB, then switched to IR and changed some other settings without opening the "Self calibration" TAB again.
Controls inside toolbox move X/Z and IPG test page of non-ET200 safety controller devices are active in case of opened cover with service access.
Screen inflate mode 'Always' had 2 input fields (pressure 'from', 'to'). As this was a little confusing, there is only one input field now for mode 'Always'.
'Multibeam single shot' feature was not working for endless device (e.g.: smartLEX)
Correct description for next button in AOM calibration wizard (display restart calibration only on last page!).
Opening of service access verification window several times is now working without a crash of bestIMAGE.
Laser power linearisation was not possible for PWM controlled EPU machines because single shot power was clipped.
Switching off vacuum pump to test vacuum system for leaks is now working again.
MAX: "Reset X axis" in axis settings was setting sensor referencing distance to wrong default.
Find logging events was moving the beginning of view exactly to the event to be found so the event was not shown. Now it centers the event on the view.
It was not possible to navigate in logging graph while 'Find event' dialog was open.
Added missing I/O state for hidden sensors in CAMServiceTool I/O status tab.

It is recommended to make backups of this files before installation: InfoMgmtBE.db (maybe located on a shared server location)

Installation of Patch:

This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 5.70/01, 5.70/02 or 5.70/03!
Download this file:

Update.exe
and double click on the downloaded file Update.exe.
This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching Update.exe.

The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !

If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result.
Alternatively you may try to re-install the same patch again until it successfully completes.
