Release Information of bestIMAGE 64 Bit Edition Patch 5.70/08

New CAM features:

Overwriting default ramp generator settings of SINAMICS rotation drive controller is now possible in machine settings (1 general valid setting for all retainer and optionally special settings per retainer).
variLEX 8xxx, DLX 8xxx, LEN 7xxx: A predefined output (24VDC/0.5A) on safety PLC is activated for some seconds at end of each job (usable for example to activate a signal horn).
Helios 6010: Retainer 10 (vacuum drum) with stronger motor settings.

Solved CAD Bugs:

Correct update of shape during changing of edit toggles inside quick paste plugin.

Solved CAM Bugs:

Pending jobs list manual date change was not updating list immediately.
Files of archived and reproduced jobs were copied again to archive as if they were 'missing'.
Date time filter in pending jobs list was filtering jobs excluding selected 'from' and 'to' date.
Keep current job name for automatically archived jobs that were not loaded through pending list.
Pending job with exchanged file(s) could not be opened again.
Clamping bar error was toggling all the time if wrong material thickness.

Solved CAM Bugs (new user interface only):

Pending job was allowed to open, even if it was already open on another device or job-editor.
Display estimated time of pending jobs on CAM-Device.
Clamping bar calibration dimension field was also switchable to pixel.
Only first separation will be opened of each selected PDF file if more than one file is selected (no matter which PDF separations are selected inside file selection box).
Focus wizard page is only visible for devices with supported focus difference list and valid retainer.

New CAM Features for service technicians:

New TAB in CAMServiceTool to read/set all available ET200S(P) none safety I/O's.
In CAMServiceTool it is now possible to open cover (front and back sided) with active rotation drive if rotation speed is below SSM (=SafeSpeeMonitoring) limit which is typically < 60 rpm at motor and service key is active.
Retainer detection speed can now be set inside retainer settings (standard = 30 rpm).

New CAM Features for service technicians (new user interface only):

Adding the 'Change ramp generator settings' to the retainer settings page.
Retainer detection speed can be set inside configure device page.

Solved CAM Bugs for service technicians:

Some status bits were not displayed correctly in logging history (red like errors, instead of gray like status).
Channel settings (nr of channels) got lost on variLEX if switched from multibeam to singlebeam.
Some ET200S(P) related errors are now also displayed on LSU (those relevant to activate a laser).

Solved CAM Bugs for service technicians (new user interface only):

Switch back to current allowed GUI if service mode was deactivated and actual GUI is not allowed. CAM plugin was reopened in correct GUI mode.

It is recommended to make backups of this files before installation: InfoMgmtBE.db (maybe located on a shared server location)

Installation of Patch:

This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 5.70/01, 5.70/02, 5.70/03, 5.70/04, 5.70/05, 5.70/06 or 5.70/07!
Download this file:

Update.exe
and double click on the downloaded file Update.exe.
This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching Update.exe.

The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !

If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result.
Alternatively you may try to re-install the same patch again until it successfully completes.
