Release Information of bestIMAGE 64 Bit Edition Patch 5.80/02

New CAM features:

Display of vacuum pressure gauge left of device panel if supported.
Shortcuts are now displayed and usable in file selection (open/save).

Solved CAD Bugs:

OP180220-0758i : Suppress input of invalid customer and simulation names in output simulation (invalid XML characters).

Solved CAM Bugs:

OP180307-1408i : Save of current rastergraph of fulltone separations from details page in CAM plugin is now working correctly.
Correct set and display of multi selected production processes in combination with regions.
Display of canvas objects overview after switching from output page to details page with same zoom factor is working.
Zoom factor of repeat height is no displaying the correct value after synchronising with database.
MAX: Current step and total number of steps is displayed now.
Move of graph inside graph control (CTRL + left mouse button) is working correctly.
MAX: Set correct output mode description for spiral (block) and cylindric (interlaced) modes.
Download and installation of Windows Updates are disabled if CAM Output Plugin is opened.
If Windows Update requires a restart, a message is now displayed and job cannot be started until Windows was restarted.
smartLEX69xx, bestLEX68xxC: It was not possible to disable/invert z-axis sensors for devices with manual z-axis.
Backplaned LEN was not referencing correctly (DC controlled Z-axis) if Z-axis was at front position.
variLEX Focus-Wizard was not working because front-most position (for crash check) was calculated wrong.
Output checksum errors (due to "RawDMA: aborted") on several devices (variLEX81xx, variLEX82xx, Kronos761x) was resolved.
Set of correct device type (endless/finite) inside job editor in several cases was resolved.
Job editor is now working for smartLEX70XX device and no CAMExpert license.

Solved CAM Bugs for service technicians:

variLEX: Correct display of self calibration settings after switching from IR to UV (and vice versa).
MAX: Load channel parameter again after output a cylindric interlaced channel alignment pattern and set best row (channel distance has been changed!).
MAX: Adding a pause/continue button for cylindric interlaced channel aligment test pattern output.
Changed Suction limits to new values according to AM1115 for bestLEN 741x and ecoLEN 731x.

It is recommended to make backups of this files before installation: InfoMgmtBE.db (maybe located on a shared server location)

Installation of Patch:

This Patch can only be applied on bestIMAGE 5.80/01!
Download this file:

Update.exe
and double click on the downloaded file Update.exe.
This will start the Patch installation program which will guide you through the installation.
You have to close bestIMAGE before launching Update.exe.

The setup only was successful if you read a success message at the end of the installation !

If the installation can not be completed successfully for any reason, you have to completely uninstall all bestIMAGE software and reinstall it, otherwise an unstable configuration might be the result.
Alternatively you may try to re-install the same patch again until it successfully completes.
