64 Bit Edition Patch 5.80/09
Attention: Due to an 1st time initialisation bug of settings in flash memory of UCB, after applying this Patch and starting bestIMAGE you must restart machine to get Z-Axis working!
Alternatively you can close bestIMAGE and reset UCB via CAM service tool.
New CAD features:
- Adding new PANTONE colorbooks.
- Extend colorway name from 10 to 256 characters.
- Supports Adobe Photoshop 2021
New CAM features:
- New sensor is now used at Kronos 861x devices for printform measurement (confocal sensor instead of triangulation sensor).
Solved CAD Bugs:
- Clip 'raster lines' value after loading from file to correct maximum value in case of raster-mode 'Random', 'Ordered random' or 'Clear dot'.
Solved CAM Bugs:
- Don’t display inconsistency message for rastering flat color separation in case of multibeam interlaced devices such as variLEX, smartLEX,….
- Set correct technology type of production data during saving to production calibration in case of variLEX.
- Set correct rotation direction for safety controlled devices during printform measurement.
- 3D analysis window of printform measurement is now ‘trackball controlled’ instead of manipulation with slider controls.
- Kronos 861x: Printform tolerance value was clipped to 0 by accident if license for '3D analyse' was not available.
- The information window of output objects is now displayed at right side of canvas area instead of semi-transparent flyover window above canvas to get better handling of objects.
- Several AOM channel error are displayed correctly. If those errors occurre during output, the job will be aborted immediately.
- Speed up file selection dialog for directories with lot of files inside.
- Display error dialog during loading of jobs for unsupported output device types.
- Clip 'raster lines' value after loading from file to correct maximum value in case of raster-mode 'Random', 'Ordered random' or 'Clear dot'.
Solved CAM Bugs for service technicians:
- 2 second filter of LDC diode overtemperature error ("Diode overtemperature" error's on smartLEX devices) is removed because overtemperature error was increased from 28°C to 31°C.
- Correct update of possible maximum values for ‘right retainer width/disc’ to prevent set of incorrect values.
- Device settings file could have been destroyed or removed during ‘Init connection’ phase of CAM device and an instable device connection.
- Minimum number of engraved focus wizard columns was decreased from 5 to 3 in case of service access.
- UCB does not switch off the chiller anymore once error is present at chiller to be able to analyze the failure on chiller device (Chiller will stop by itself if required).
New CAM features for service technicians:
- Display Beckhoff slave group information for new Kronos 861x
- Display of ‘power supply’ state for IPG-YLR laser in LSU service menu.
- Exchange the inactive ‘Next’ to a ‘Done’ button inside AOM calibration wizard to confirm data and getting an information dialog for successfully calibration.
- Displaying of channel width and channel distances also in inch unit and the decimal places have been increased to 10 to get an exact value for the resolution in DPI.
- Adding the communication tool for BKT 8 channel diode driver module (beta status).
It is recommended to make backups of this files before installation: InfoMgmtBE.db (maybe located on a shared server location)
